The agreement
By using Safer Inventory you agree to these Terms. The agreement is between Pistis Contracting Inc. (Ontario, Canada) and the legal entity that signed up. If you're an individual operator without an entity, that's you personally.
Your subscription
We offer Free, Starter, Growth, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Each plan's limits are described at /pricing. Paid plans include a 14-day trial — no credit card needed to start. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel.
We may change plan limits with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers keep their current limits until renewal at the next billing period.
Your data
Your data is yours. We don't train models on it, we don't sell it, and we don't use it for purposes outside running the service. Full treatment in the Privacy Policy and DPA.
You can export your data at any time, in CSV or PDF, from the dashboard.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes or to violate others' rights.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
- Resell the service without an explicit reseller agreement.
- Upload Personal Data of categories listed under Article 9 GDPR (health, biometric, political, etc.).
- Attempt to compromise our security, including penetration testing without written authorisation. (We welcome responsible disclosure — see /security.)
Fees + taxes
Subscription fees are charged in CAD via Stripe at the start of each billing period. Stripe Tax computes applicable sales tax based on your billing address. Late payment triggers a grace period (7 days), then suspension; we never delete your data without an explicit deletion request.
Uptime + SLA
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans. Enterprise customers receive a 99.95% uptime commitment with service credits for shortfall, documented in their order form. Status and historical uptime live at /status.
Liability
Our liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits or lost data, even when we knew the loss was possible.
This doesn't limit liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
You can cancel anytime from /app/settings/billing. We'll stop billing at the end of the current period. Data deletion follows the timelines in the Privacy Policy (90-day account retention, then full deletion).
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We'll give 7 days notice and an opportunity to remediate, except for emergencies (active security threat or unpaid fees beyond grace).
